Iscar has introduced several new variant diamond milling headers
1. MM ETR Milling head
Iscar has supplemented six MM ETR profiled milling heads made of IC903 grades as an addition to its existing IC908 grade MM ETR replaceable end mills. This IC903 grade milling head is designed for finishing and is mainly used for processing hardened materials popular in the mold industry. The new replaceable carbide head with 6 effective teeth, with anti-vibration design, diameter 8,10 and 12mm of the head were designed corresponding to the tip radius of 0.5 and 1.0mm. (Note: IC903 alloy grades: 12% cobalt content of ultra-fine grain matrix TiAlN (PVD) coating; both high wear resistance and high toughness, recommended for hardness up to HRC62 hardened steel, titanium , Nickel base alloy and stainless steel processing.)
2. MM ECF cutter head
Iscar to its MM ECF chamfering knife added five 60 ° chamfer and five 30 ° chamfering and countersunk head machining milling head. Two new chamfering heads are supplied with T06, T08 T10, T12 and T15 connecting threads, respectively.
3. MM EPG Milling head
Iscar has added two single-edged knives. The original 60 ° and 90 ° tip angle head, now added 30 ° and 45 ° tip angle head, followed by the original tip of the T05 connecting thread and 0.2mm radius of the nose fillet.
4. MM ER cutter head
Features: with rounded round nose cutter head; grinding, front blade angle of the rake face; concave arc radius values were 1.0, 1.6, 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0 mm; using a common PVD coating IC908 grades.
Typical applications are for rounded corners (rounded or curved) and chamfering (smaller than 45 ° at right angles). Can also be customized according to user requirements for a specific radius of the cutter head.
The new milling cutter head achieves higher productivity with a higher table feed compared to a concave round milling head MM HR with only two valid teeth, with a MM ER milling head with four effective teeth.
